We had a wonderful time traveling up to the North Shore of Minnesota to Lake Superior with The Paquettes. When COVID-19 hit early this spring, we didn’t know if we would be taking any vacations this summer. We were excited to know that our little cabins in the woods would still be open to us for this Paquette family week.
We had 2 beautiful cabins at Temperance Landing on Lake Superior. We had a week of hiking, fishing, kayaking and swimming. We loved sitting by the Lake and dipping our toes in the water. We loved relaxing outside the cabin and hearing the waves crash on the rocks. One of our favorite stops is Caribou Cream. Our favorite syrup in the world. We got to stop by their little syrup shop and stock up for the year.
One of the highlights for everyone was Caribou Falls. It was a nice little hike into a beautiful waterfall. The girls and Denis even swam.
It was a wonderful time with Denis’ family and many fun memories were made. Lake Superior is such a majestic place and we all took time to enjoy being by the water. We are grateful for an amazing week.
