We continued down the road to our Radisewitz family vacation at Lake Shetek, MN. One of the 10,000 lakes in Minnesota. My parents have a cabin on the lake and with a bunkhouse, RV and pop-up camper – we were set for a full week.
We enjoyed beautiful mornings of coffee and fun conversations and every afternoon turned into a tubing, skiing and boating adventure.
We had bonfires, enjoyed smores and even a “candy bar” where the kids could top off their marshmellow with their favorite treats.
We went into Currie, MN and toured the End-O-Line Railroad park and got an old fashion soda. There was even a girls shopping trip to Slayton, MN.
We ended the week celebrating my parents 40th wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful celebration of their 40 years of love. With Covid-19 we couldn’t do a big bash to celebrate like we would have liked but we did have some shirts made to Cheers to their 40 years. The grandkids had their name and number on their shirts. All because two people fell in love!
