Life’s A Dance… You Learn As You Go!

In today’s episode, Denis and Jessie discuss the rollercoaster adventure of starting a podcast. What do you think it takes to start a podcast? Well, its a lot more than you might think. Then they transition into what it means to be man. Where do men thrive and where do they fall short? What does it mean to embrace the masculine or “be a man”? We talk about a few national holidays: Situational Awareness Day, Dumpling Day, and Shamu the Whale Day. Finally we close it out talking about our experience seeing Coolio perform in Sioux Falls just weeks prior to his unexpected death.

In Strangers, Denis and Jessie talk about how to handle the busy family lifestyle as kids activities have everyone going in every direction. We get into discussing Mckinley’s congenital hypothyroidism and even though, initially scared and in the unknown, found out later on that we are beyond blessed with an easily treatable condition and a healthy young adult. What was a time in your life when you were initially scared or worried and things worked out?

In Friends, we tell a hilarious story that causes some drama on the farm. Jessie talks about the importance of a lifelong friend and how you can just let down your guard and be yourself… completely, authentically, and unapologetically YOU! Do you have a friend like that in your life? Yes? Tell us about it.

In Family, Denis and Jessie are joined by Mckinley and Kyndle to discuss the pressures of school (lanyards, homework, friends, and more) and how the school has handled a FALSE active shooter scenario. Does your school have a good plan of action?

In Lovers, Jessie highlights some criticism that Candace Cameron Bure took for exhibiting and discussing a healthy intimate relationship with her husband and what sex means in the relationship. What does a healthy sexual relationship do for you in your relationship? And… if you are wanting to heat things up in the bedroom, we discuss one little secret you can do with your partner that we learned about from IG: @nicole_thesexprofessor You’ll be surprised how easy this could be.
